Evaluation
An evaluation is a comprehensive assessment of your child's speech and language abilities. Information is collected through various modalities including parent report, formal testing, and clinical observation. Findings are then synthesized and discussed with the family in order to establish the appropriate course of action. A full written report is provided.
Treatment
Intervention is provided based on each child's own needs. It targets the development of speech and language skills. Often, improvements can be made through weekly sessions. Families are encouraged to participate in the therapeutic process with their child and therapist.
Payment Options
Melissa is a contracted provider with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of MA, Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, Allways Health Partners, Aetna and United Health Care partnered with Harvard Pilgrim. She also accepts private pay.
